Peter Vollenweider has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. He is co-founder and owner of FINYON.

He worked at Credit Suisse in the capital markets business, as Head of Liquidity Management and as Head of Business Support for Corporate & Institutional Clients, as CFO of the Telco Group and as a management consultant in Treasury & Risk Management Consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He completed his business education at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG) and is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (GARP FRM).

In addition to various board mandates at SMEs, Peter is also a member of the board of trustees of a vested benefits foundation and a pension foundation. From 2014 to 2020, he was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council and its finance and economic commissions, as well as a member of the political advisory board of the Zurich Banking Association.
